Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone else out there with Bart is intolerant of wearings heels. I was dismayed to learn that my new boots with 1-1/2" heels are way too much for my feet to tolerate. I used to think it was the hippie, Birkenstock gal in me but now I wonder if it's the Bart.

Anyone?

Denise

Yeah, my stylish heels are all in storage now.

I could only wear athletic shoes for several months, now I can wear flats with orthotics. For several months I could no go barefoot, now I can to some degree.

Wouldn't you know I had just purchased some fancy new high heels before Bart hit.

I attempted to wear heels to a wedding. I was crying before I even got to the church, it was so bad.

For a long time all I could tolerate was flip-flops.

Even now, any kind of shoe I wear is fine as long as I don't walk at all lolol. I notice that I can only go a short while in any kind of shoe before the pain gets too bad. And this is after months of Bart treatment, sigh. But it is better than it was.

When I get better..look out. I'm going to get something heel-y, strappy, and sassy.
