I have been sick for so many years, I cannot even count them. I'm really beginning to think I've had this problem since I was about 12, and now, I'm 50.
What do you do when you are unable to get the care you need? What happens? The way I feel today, not breathing anymore seems quite a viable option.
Headache that is so severe right now I can barely think, keep my eyes open. My head actually feels swollen at the temples, feels like it could burst.
Body temp 96.2. But sweating like a pig.
Body aches, muscle twitches, what I call "brain shivers" nonstop. Blood pressure up, blood sugar up despite medication.
Crabby, just ask my kids. . .
I'm sure there may be some answers here somewhere that I could search for, but I'm just too yucky feeling right now.
Suggestions for what I can do to at least feel better would be greatly appreciated. For the headache especially.
I have health insurance through Group Health and its protocol provides nothing in the way of treating Lyme without supportive testing, which, of course, I'm negative on. I'm given bandaids, nothing more.
Thanks, Moosie

If your insurance covers a DO (osteopathic) he may be able to help give you coverage for the meds or alternative therapy. It seems the doc should be able to give you an antibiotic to try. Even if the Insurance doesn't cover it, I believe that Walmart may have an antibiotic option for $4. I'm sure others will post soon. Also, you need to find a LLMD, if that LLMD diagnoses you with lyme (it is a clinical diagnosis)you would have backup for your insurance company.
In the beginning, I did things like take really hot bath, go to a sauna- however someone has to be around, because you can get dizzy. I'm sure others more knowledgeable will pipe in.
