Migrating pain is a symptom of Lyme. Many people have pain worse on one side, in ways that are not consistent with any other disorder. But people also get pain that just migrates all over the place.
A few weeks ago, my left hip hurt out of the blue. I was limping for days. Got up from my desk one afternoon, and realized I was limping on the other side.

I believe this is the main reason I thought I was going nutts....because my pain would move from one knee to the other, one elbow to the other.
Mine all started on the left side but eventually alternated with the right side. I too have had a burning sensation in different parts that lasts briefly. Mainly the bottom of my left foot, but recently have had it other spots. It comes and goes as well.
I understand this is very common for Lyme. Hope this helps.

I'm jumping on this bandwagon too. I had pain that kept changing places. Mine started on the left side of my body but continued to spread.
Even worse, one day it would be somewhere totally different than the day before. I feared telling my doctor it kept moving since after five years of symptoms with every specialist galore....
you do start to wonder if it's possible you are imagining it and as you question yourself, you question your sanity.
But seeing my LLMD and hearing of others talk of it....migrating pain is VERY indicative of lyme.

Thank you everyone. At least I know Im not going crazy now!
I was afraid to tell anyone. I think even my family who DOES believe I have Lyme has to be tired of all the 'different' and constantly changing symptoms!
Can anyone think of any symptom that doesnt happen with this crazy disease?

Migrating pain (awful, stabbing pain and occasional joint pain) was the first symptom I noticed and the one that prompted me to see a doctor.
