DLL,
I must have misrepresented the facts in what I first stated. It IS in fact my LLMD who is using Kineseology to diagnose me. It is not a farce, and it proved accurate. I trust him anyway, I know I at least have one MD who will help me through this and is with us for life. He does use all the homeopathic meds but also uses antibiotics and will allow me to be treated with them if I want or try to avoid them if I would like to. What I did was I tested positive by the LLMD who used Kineseology, THEN went to have blood drawn from regular MD, then when it came back positive, which proved the Kineseology was correct, I then took it to my Infectious Disease specialist who then confirmed the tests were positive. She then sent me to the hospital for special procedures for blood cultures. She wants to see if it is in my blood actively circulating, etc.. But she did not hesitate to put me right on a 6 week course of very strong antibiotics. I then went back to my LLMD - all this because he is NOT covered by Insurance, and he then tested me to the meds and gave me drops to help stregthen my liver and such. I use him primarily but the Infectious disease MD is nice and is covered, so whatever he suggests, I ask her to help with if possible.
So, I am for sure positive and I am for sure going to get much better now.
The homeopathic things I have used have helped more than the antibiotics did alone. I find that hyperbarics, with IV Rocephin, and the Cat's claw with scolopendrium works the best for the Lyme for ME. I was able to travel to another country 4 months after my initial diagnosis and stay there 2 MONTHS without gettinng sick. I asked my LLMD if He could get me well enough to travel in 4 months, and he said "you are very sick, but I can believe with you for that, we can certainly try." The Hyperbaric oxygen helped me sooo much and I herxed on it alot.
Now am I much better Lyme-wise, tests are coming up better each time, and I am recovering. But it is a process. For those out there who feel alone and scared and hopeless, let me tell you, I was very sick with three little kids and could not hardly get through the day. With the help of a LLMD and a good Infectious disease MD, and Hyperbarics, even a infra red sauna once or twice a week, I feel so much better than when I first got diagnosed about a year ago. Keep on walking and searching for answers. There are some very negative people who will say you cannot get well ever, no matter what. Don't listen to them. You can get better. You can. I know people who lost the use of their legs and have now recovered and test negative now for Lyme by PCR testing and otherwise.... also some who lost use of one whole side of their body..and are now back to near normal. Some it took months , some years. But it happened for every single person I have met personally and spoken with. I recognize there are much more sever forms and people have and still do die from it, but for most, I believe there is hope. Find a good LLMD, or email me, I have one in the ATL area.

What is the scolopendrium? Is it a herb or a homeopathic med? Never heard of this before.

Could you go back and edit your post to make it easier to read. I don't have Lyme (hubby does), but even I have difficulty reading such a long post without more spaces for paragraphs.

Wonderful news that you are improving so quickly.

Thanks,

Bea Seibert

Paula, to break up your post for readability to us neuro lymies, pleas do the following:

click on PENCIL ICON, and then start breaking up your SOLID BLOCK OF TEXT into paragraphs of 6 lines of text or so;NOT larger ok!

Then hit the enter key TWICE after EACH PARAGRAPH and keep doing this until you are all done. Then hit EDIT SEND button so it reformats.

Please do this on ALL POSTS/REPLIES as well to others reading this. Otherwise, we will just SOB, SCROLL ON BY, without attemmpting to read. [group hug]

Hi Paula,

I am not sure why this post is addressed to me. Has there been some misunderstanding?

I think all I have said in the previous thread was that a diagnosis (of anything) is very dubious to me. That is just my own opinion on it. You, or anyone else, may feel differently. So, it was not meant as criticism of your choice.

I am glad you feel it is working for you, that's great.

Thanks, I have had a great LLMD for the last couple of years and now have another great replacement due to his retirement. Like you, I was very sick (and with a young child) and am now much better/improving.

However, in my case, homeopathy an isopathy did not help in the long-term. As well as other things I tried. I am not saying it was totally without benefit, only that until I added abx.

I have used bio-resonant testing for a long time now, which is a form of computerized kinesiology, with great success. This holds true for homeopathy as well.

It is really nice to see how traditional and alternative medicine blend together well, and lab work too, with one test confirming the other.
