i've read about people who were seronegative turning seropositive transiently after getting treatment.
does anyone know, is there a timeline when this happens? like is it most likely to occur X number of weeks after starting antibiotics, or does it occur after stopping treatment?
and how transient is this, and why is it transient?

I had a second WB about 5 wks after the first. Went off abx for the two wks before the test.
It went from showing 2 bands to showing 7!! Even though it still wasn't CDC positive, I figured nothing else could have made those Lyme bands show up!
Since I'd had it for so many years prior to testing, I know my less than positive result was due to my suppressed immune system.

I think I was like Tutu, in that, I had been sick for so many years my body really wasn't making antibodies by the time I was finally tested.
13 years ago, I was diagnosed clinically with just band 34 on an IgG.
WBs were taken while on treament, every 3-6 months, and each time another band or so would appear.
It took almost 3 years to get a fully positive test.
Nowadays I generally come up with a smattering of + bands and a bunch of INDs, moreso on IgM than IgG. I never had an IgM response before last year. (This last one was done while not on ABX.)
