I have never had much in the way of PMS prior to becoming ill. Only thing i had was a lil swollen boobies ...but heck...that wasnt so bad.
Since being ill....my PMS experience is like Nightmare on Elm St. It starts like 7 days prior and continues on. Its high irritability, increased anxiety, tense tight and a feeling of burning muscles, increased twitching and sleep disturbances and increased weakness/dizziness.
Curious who else has this and what you take if anything.
Im learning there is not an area that is UNTOUCHED by Lyme. Posts: 160 | From california | Registered: Dec 2006

Hi panic be gone--me too, only it seems that it doesn't stop actually--ever!!
Since having been infected with Lyme I'm always anxious, depressed, edgy, irritable and not easy to be around. I can count the days on one hand that I haven't felt this way in the past six months (when I was bitten). It just seems like something I'll have to manage with...
I do find that all my symptoms--candida and Lyme come out into full force before and directly after my period--it magnifies it all tremendously...
Hope you feel better soon,

Thank you ladies! Ashley...im with you on that. I'm like that all the time. Its just freaky scary during and before the "time". I feel i have no control almost. I hope this improves with meds. I havent started treatment yet. My body must be so exhausted to be so tense and irritable and anxious all the time. Take care.
