I was on amoxy for a week when I had this re run...and it went up by 40 points.

Dr wasnt sure why......said it should be going down.

Any ideas on this.

I wonder if the abx allowed my body to make more antibodies.

Its frustrating, since the abx left me with a very very severe yeast infection of the bladder...that is very slowly subsiding.

Ive been on so mant antifungals......its nutz.

Hi don'tgiveupyet

How bad are the yeast infections? I was on oral doxy, by day 3 I had a bad yeast infection. I was thinking of buying stock in Monistat. My stomach couldn't handle the doxy either. I threw up about half of what I took.

The dr. did say it would be hard on the stomach. But in keeping with my medical ins. protocol he had to start me on oral to appease them. So he told me to stop. So I have a little reprieve herebefore I start IV antibiotics. But just the last 2 days I've felt so bad. Lot's of dizzyness. Could I be Herxing from 2 weeks of oral antibiotics? If that is the case.....Oh My God, I am going to go through hell and back.

I just want to get started before I get any stupider. I feel like I am ready for a nursing home.

Nineteen years without treatment. Cranky and miserable, but ready to start IV antibiotic therapy. Please pray for me, as I am very sick.
