Hey Radiogirl,

Bowen has been surrounded by controversy forever.
I am not a microbiologist, so I can not comment on the validity of thier testing.

However, they have done a great service for many who have looked for a diagnosis for years.

1:128 is the highest dilution possible that still shows the bacteria present- therefore, the theory is that he has a higher Bb load. (please correct me if I am mistaken on this)

If there are others in your family who have been diagnosed, and your precious son is exhibiting symptoms and a reaction to meds, chances are he is positive regardless of what test is used. This, you can believe.

I would definitely recommend a follow-up with the proper treatment plan suited to his particular needs.

Are you working with a qualified LLMD for your family? If you are needing help in that area, please let us know, OK?

Hang in there. TBDs in families are quite common, I am only sorry that you are having to deal with this too.

My best,
melanie

I think their testing is a good source of information - especially with that level. It would move me to do an IGeneX WB and panel, CD57 test, and co-infection testing immediately to see what other information can be identified.

Be well,
