I do doxy every day-and pulse flagyl for two weeks with it.- During the two weeks on flagyl I am prone to thrush-so I add Nystatin, too.
I also take Ceftin every day.

I am not a happy camper during the two weeks of added flagyl.

Flagyl is used in combination with a number of abx. Doc's generally use it to bust open the cyst form of Bb and another abx then cleans up. I'd think doxy/flagyl would be a good combo.

Watch the herx's, so you may want to start slow.

I've never heard of a new patient pulsing doxy. The critters need to be knocked down as quickly as possible in my opinion.

Pulsing flagyl is another story.

Carol...You'd be better off taking Nystatin EVERYday. Trust me!

I am taking Tinidazole and Minocycline continuously, and it is really working.

Okay- maybe that's why she prescribed a quart bottle of it at a time. I just take it until the white patches disappear and my tongue doesn't feel like I scalded it.

I will heed your advice. [bow]
