I just rec'd my bottle of art today. They are 100mg.
Should I go by the directions or start out more slowly. I think it says to take 1 three times a day.
I want to feel better sooner than later, but I'm a little nervous with the holidays coming up.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks and Happy Holidays to all!

Hi Karen,
I take Nurticology brand Artemesinin. 100 mgs. capsules.
I started out with two a day. One in the morning, one in the evening. It killed me. Tried to hang in there for a few days, then cut it back to one a day.
(I have to be the better functioning parent of the household.)
Still could feel the one a day doing something, so am sticking with that (with Mepron & Zithromax).
I've been increasing the Mepron. When I've topped out on the Mepron (taking the highest dose doc recommended working up to), I'll try adding another Art every day.
But the two at the beginning made me totally unable to function (nausea, huge nonstop headache, etc.).
I did read some old posts about art and I thought I remembered to start out slowly.
I got mine from Allery Research Group, that is where my llmd told me to get it.
He did not say how much to take but I assumed I should follow the directions.
I heard it can be really rough. With 3 kids and the holidays coming I am definitely starting slow.
I used to take mepron in the beginning with Plaquinil and biaxin. Mepron was hard on my stomach, but I did see improvement with it.
Then I used Malarone instead of Mepron but after awhile I felt like I was going backwards.
Just recently started on Ketek and ceftin, along with other stuff I've been taking (nystatin, thyroid, vitamin b, vitamin a, phoschol, oramune max etc, the list goes on)
After a week on ketek my vision was so bad I had to stop it. My vision is really lousy these days anyway so I couldn't take it. My eyes are heavy, can't focus, blurred vision, fatigued.
So right now I am on ceftin and about to take art, still on the other stuff I mentioned.
Sorry I am rambling. I think I'll start with one a day and see how that goes. I'll talk to my llmd next week, but I definitely would rather speak to people with experience that have been on it.
I thank you for your help and patience with me.
Happy Holidays to everyone and lets hope for a Healthy New Year for all.
Karen
