hi folks,

this past spring i had an allergy treatment (enzyme potentiated desenitization). i had to eat these quite fancy and expensive breads made from cassava, lotus, malanga etc. they were purchased from a bakery in texas called francis simun bakery, and cost a couple hundred bucks.

they are made with just pure flour (from whatever exotic flour) salt and distilled water. i couldn't eat the majority of them, and so froze them.

now i'm moving, and have to clear out my freezer. it seems lousy to chuck them, since they were so pricey. they have been frozen the entire time. i'm happy to send them via express mail to anyone who has allergies and wants them.

i'm on the west coast, closer is probably better in terms of them not thawing for too long while in transit.

please post here, or email me at [email protected].

(don't use the private messsage function here on the board, since i've had a lot of lost messages using that function.)

best to all,
flossie

flossie, what a kind offer you've made someone.

i'm in iowa; so too far, but I would have accepted your generous offer as i've tried one gluten-free bread only; wow, big bucks $$$$!

best wishes on your move flossie!

I agree... very kind offer!

Those breads sound wonderful! Wish I could try some as I would love to discover some new gluten free breads. But... I am on a 'no carb except potato,' etc., diet. And I may be too far anyway. Rats.
