My ID says no to more rocephin after my gb surgury but some here still take it...

Anyone have thoughts on this. Does rocephin sludge in the liver even w/o a gb?

Thanks, I am still in abx limbo afraid to go back on zith iv or claforan iv...but rocephin?

Also, if you stop rocephin for a couple weeks, do you think the ketes get resistant to it?

Cave: Wow. If you have any tips on how to afford 17 months of IV R., besides the obvious (personal wealth) -- please share! There may be an insurance plan out there that will actually support long term tx, I don't know. Many thanks.

I have no gallblatter and i am taking rocephin. I start in Jan-and my surgeon and LLMD gave me the OK but I am going a on a small dose just to be safe
