I did post this in General but since Crimeoflyme (Jodie) is physically doing badly and also need of any suggestions or help I thought I would post here too.

I am posting this for Crimeoflyme because she is devastated at the moment. Her sister was violently murdered on December 22nd. Anyone that knew her from lymenet can go online to www.mason-gelder.com to leave condolenses on the website.

Sherry was 35, leaves behind two children: Christian, 12 and Nicole, 16. Nicole's Father was shot and killed when she was 3. Jodie will be seeking immediate custody of Nicole.

If anyone wants to make a donation they can do it straight to the funeral home - otherwise if you might have clothes or other items for Nicole = I have a list of what she needs, please contact me at [email protected].

Artist Di - if you are reading this, Jodie would like to talk to you if possible.

From Jodie - If there is ANYONE on lymenet in the Westmoreland county area that has, owns, or rents a 4 bedroom full attic home or a 5 bedroom home, please contact me immediately. I pay 670.00 a month here, plus gas, plus electric and have done fine paying that. We are in a very good area, but we need to uproot and change all the kids schools immediately.

Anyone else who might be willing to help, feel free to contact me and I can give you a list of ALL that jodie needs right away.

Thank you all and Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Can you plese pass along my condolances. I KNEW something was up when she never posted back to me on off topic board,,,not like her at all.

I consider Jodie a VERY 'good' friend and am considerably upset at this turn of events.

Is there any more info available?? Like was this a domestic situation? Or a drive by accidental shooting? Or a hold-up type thing? OOPs, maybe not a shooting at all?? Might have misread something the previous post DIDNT say!!

I presume there is NO danger to Jodie or Nichole or other preventative measures would surely be taken by NOW!!!

Uprooting the kids and changing schools is bad enough trauma let alone all the rest!! Can the other child of Jodies sister remain with the other sibling,,,or has that been alredy taken care of??(I just hate kids being split up!!)

This is INDEED so sad,,,was just thinking of her today!!! Sent them some presents a couple years ago!! Sounds like they need ALOT more now!!The whole family is remaining in my prayers because of being--just don--

lymesux,
I tried going to the funeral home site to leave condolances but the first thing it asks you for is the deceased name. Dont know IF Sherry is enough to get it there. Any chance of getting a full name??? For condolances purposes??

Hey dearhearts,

may I suggest that we keep all this in one location?

Perhaps general would be better for now? Since it will most likely stay put there.

Here is the link to that post:
