had late stage Lyme treatment years ago, was really sick for about 2 years prior to diagnosis. Treatment included Rocephin, and about a year and a half of other oral antibiotics.
My health has improved greatly, yet times like this I wonder if there's a possibility of Lyme reaction years after?
Now and then, I get total body aches, that can best be described as feeling every bone in my body because it hurts, exhaustion, heart palps, headaches and basically just pain with no outward signs of any other illness (congestion, sore throat, fever, etc)
When it happens, bascially I have to ride it out...no doctor seems to have any answer...my Lyme doctor is not longer practicing so I'm at the mercy of my GP, who isn't well informed on Lyme or what can be leftover from it?
Can it lead to other illnesses? Arthritic conditions?
Is it possible or does anyone have any experience with something like this?
Any help will be greatly appreciated many thanks.

Nay,
I'm still new to this lyme illness so can't speak from personal experience about your case, but I have done quite a bit of reading on these boards.
If I were in your situation, I would find another LLMD. If you need help in finding one in your area, you can go to the topic asking for LLMD's in your area.
I really do think a LLMD would be much more intune with what you are dealing with and most definitely more able to help you than your G.P. is able to in this situation.
Good luck to you and feel better.

Were you ever treated for any co-infections? Like Babesia?
I would try and get another LLMD in your area and get retested. Also Lyme can go into remission and pop up later. You would know for sure if you got a herx reaction from taking an abx or herb that treats lyme like cats claw.
Lyme can lead to other illnesses but the root cause is still Bb or some co-infection. It can be misdiagnosed as MS, Fibromyalgia, Lupus, ALS, Parkinsons, Rheumatoid Arthitis, Psychiatric Disorders & mental illness, Bi-Polar, Etc.
But I wouldn't just live with the symptoms without trying something. If it is Bb or a co-infection its not going to go away on its own. And you know something is wrong.
