That's one of the super bioactive ones. I was told to take 35-50 mgs/day. (I had been taking 100mg of the others and the doc felt this would be the equivalent of a higher dose.)

Perhaps you should check if you should be taking that much of that type of CoQ10.

Did your doctor prescribe that dose?

Please be careful Eric, ok?

I came back to ask... why do you want to take things that cause your body to malfunction? I don't get it. [confused]

polar blast,
I take 400 mg per day. An M.D. that I saw last year wanted me to take a dose similar to yours. That's a bit too expensive for me but according to the doctor that I saw, he said you needed the higher doses when you are so sick.

Hubby takes the Life Extension brand. Recently increased from 400mg daily to 600mg daily. Has been on this brand for about 5 years now -- however the company keeps changing their formula. Last year they added d-limonene to the product, but took that away this year I think.

Rather than spend so much money for one supplement I would suggest getting your lipid peroxide level checked (can be done by MetaMetrix and other labs). If level is elevated then that would be evidence that maybe a higher dose would be helpful. MetaMetrix can also test blood levels of CoQ10. Both tested included in the ION profile or can be ordered separately.

Hope you are feeling better Eric. You seem much less anxious now.

That is a lot of CoQ10! But I think you sound less anxious, too. Are your other symptoms getting better? How is your fish doing?

My daughter is shifting now from 30mg to 60mg of CoQ10. We are trying to slowly work her way up to higher doses. Not sure what the threshold will be, yet. She does get headaches even at low doses and gets a little disoriented if I don't do foot detox baths for her.

Still need to touch base with Marnie and review her instructions for other support supplements, when taking CoQ10. She is taking SOD, lecithin, and vitamin E, among other basic supplements.

I will be taking CoQ10 sometime soon also. I am hoping it will help with some short-term memory problems I have noticed.

how are you feeling?are you on co q10 as well...it is the best thing to take for art toxicity...art works on the mitochondria of the cell..co q 10 reverses it.let me know how you are doing..by the way I cant take life extensions because I will feel energised...I cant sit down on that brand..

Hi Eric,

I am pretty stable now, but still have moderate neuro issues off and on, usually worse every 28 days when Bb replicate (?).

I have not started CoQ10, but I will soon because I think it will help me. I was waiting to see how far I can get with my present remedies. My daughter is doing well. We think we see real improvement in cognitive function, so that is encouraging.

Do you see improvement, too? Maybe that Life Extension brand is more potent.

Are you going to try to do some other type of detoxing? Thought I saw a post about a glutathione push.

Best wishes,

Claire

the coq 10 is important in cases of art adverse effects..it helps the cell to repair itself..It is what helped me..
as far as life extensions..they are nono particules and i think that they enter the cns...this advice is from the labs who studied art and its use in the field..if you need to know the dr behind art then let me know..

Hi Polar. Glad to see you are feeling better.

I recall you were going to see your LLMD on Dec. 29 -- how did that go? What did he think you should do to treat the babesia?

I would like to know the name of your art doctor... Or even if you could just provide information regarding his views. We can never have enough information about this illness.

Send a private message if necessary.

I think I remember reading something about the nano CoQ10. Maybe it works better on a lower dose.

Claire

***Could you let us know about the tests when they are in? That is great that you are getting photos of the organisms!

Still would like to know more about your doctor, Eric, and his perspective on art.

Could send me a PM, maybe? Just click the little envelope icon above this post.

Thank you.
