How do I know if I am toxic. Lately under my eyes are swollen, like pockets filled with fluid. I have had this before but I'm just not sure how I would know.
I did take the vcs test which said I was toxic.
I guess what I am asking is what do you all feel when you are toxic?
I am taking mangosteen juice, art, ceftin, nystatin, thyroid, astragulus, oramune max, phoschol, vitamin b, vitamin a, theralac etc.
What do I do to detox?
Help,
Thanks Karen

Where are your binders? Chlorella or Cholestyramine, etc. Those and others may help bind neurotoxins and should be part of most programs in my opinion.

Some people do well with chlorella. I do not .
However, I have found a product ( designed for detox) that I think helps a lot . It is called fiber fusion and it binds with toxins in the bowel . If i forget to take it ( three capsules a day APART from meds and other supplements ) I feel lots worse . I think it helps me !
Fiber Fusion is made by Enzymatic Therapy and I buy it at Drug Emporium.

I like tincups detox tea recipe very much. They are a combination of more mild teas compared to like yogi's detox tea that has something like 11 different herbs in them.
If you have concerns about a reaction you can start out with one tea & gradually add the others in.
The dandelion in the tea recipe is good for fluid retention & I also use it when I am pms too.
Living in this day and age we are all toxic. I have decided after feeling so much better after an herbal parasite cleanse that it will now be a regular part of my regimine at least 2 x a year.
I noticed you are taking astragulus. Stephen Buhner who is a master herbalist claims that astragulus actually ramps up a part of your immune system response that can actually be detrimental in patients with chronic lyme disease. In an acute new infection astragulus is recommended but in the chronic stage he believes it is not good.
Just thought I would mention it. Of course as I am learning with this disease there are so many opposing opinions you definitely have to read all that you can and then decide for yourself and your own unique body.
Take care and happy healing!
