I do take exception to the generalization that animal fats are bad, though.
Pastured meats have a similar EFA profile to wild salmon - much higher in omega 3's than factory farmed meats that receive a high grain ration.
Similarly, most farmed salmon has a similar EFA profile to factory farmed beef - crappy in the omega 3 department. That's what you get when you feed fish "chow".
