I've been searching for a place to purchase the Japanese knotweed or Polygonum cuspidatum that Stephen Buhner mentions in his book, "Healing Lyme". However, he states the whole herb is crucial, meaning all of the constituents or ingredients including; emodin, polydatin, trans-resveratrol and the obvious- resveratrol.
Does anyone know where I can get this with ALL of ingredients?

Mike

I have read that several here buy herbs at 1st Chinese herbs and have a good experience
with this business ( AND WITH Buhner's protocol) .

Some folk simply put the herbs in capsules
with a little gadget .

Look for Jim Bob's and Maria's posts .

I will try and bring some of their old ones back . Good luck.

The capsule gadget is called a CapMquick. It's still kind of a hassle.

Standardised polygonum such as in Buhner's book is made by Source Naturals and is marketed as Resveratrol (he makes the point that resveratrol is just a component of many herbs (such as grapes) and you don't want 'just any' resveratrol, you really want polygonum).

I buy it online from Myvitanet.com but they're really slow to ship.

Hi Mike:
Yes, go to 1st Chinese Herbs. You can call Sarah, she is very helpful. They have an 800 line.

The cheapest place to buy a good little machine is from Wonder Laboratories in Tennessee. You can Google them. ALSO they have the very best prices on empty capsules. There are two sizes normally used. Either "0" or "00" size. I use both, but mostly "0" as they are a little easier to swallow. But your choice.

I make my capsules while I am watching TV at night. Sort of killing two birds with one stone.
The machines make 24 capsules at a time. You save about 80% by encapsulating your own. THAT adds up to a lot in a years time.
