I'd be interested in hearing about some of the products you are using that you have found to be notable in your recovery.

I am not looking for general things like magnesium, etc. which we all know, but specific products.

Some that I have come across of late and am interested in any thoughts about are Destroxin (looks promising), Allimed, Germ Slayer, etc.

What have you found to be the most useful for parasites? For heavy metals? For Lyme?

Hoping to start a dialog that might bring to light some gems that are not yet well discussed.

I also welcome any comments on devices that have helped as well. Anyone tried the Q2 foot detox bath? ActiveAir (also very promising)?

Take care

Be well,
Scott

Cumanda by Nutramedix for controlling yeast. Amazing stuff. It's also supposed to be effective against Borrelia. But I was on abx, so can't differentiate what does what there.

I've had a huge increase in energy following a tailored nutritional supplement plan for autonomic nervous system disfunction and adrenal fatigue.

I can't really pick specific things out, because it was all of it together. And it was tailored to my deficiencies.

So that's a plug for finding a doctor who understands supplements and the right tests and is willing to help tailor a plan for you.

Scott,
I have been taking Coriolus Versicolfrom MRL since late September.

An LLNP recommended it saying that she had noted an improvement in lyme patient's CD57 counts while on the supplements. So I started 1 pill twice a day, the dose based on energetic testing.

I noted an increase in energy and focus, and was able to accomplish more without getting tired. The mental and emotional lethargy also was gone, to some degree.

In November I developed insomnia so I stopped the Coriolus. Gradually I started feeling more lethargic and little things such as household chores and paperwork piled up. I thought perhaps it was the flu.

On Thursday I asked an ND to test the Coriscular on me, and it tested well at 3 pills a day. I knew that would be too much. I started with 1 pill on Friday and immediately felt better. My kitchen was clean and organized.

Last night I didn't sleep weel so I cut back to 1/2 pill this morning, which for now seems to be a good dose.

Hi -- I know I've already discussed this with you, but for me, drinking the Ultra mangosteen juice daily(several ounces, with water; in healthfood stores and online) is saving my eyes. That means alot to me...No more dark glasses, no more floaters, no more eye pain, no more focus problems.

Additional benefits: Gums stopped bleeding after years of doing so. Softened some lumps in my legs. Keeps me very regular bowelwise.

That's my product recommendation for you... Thanks for collecting the info. [Smile] -- Robin

I can't say enough about digestive enzymes after many months of abx. WobenzymN has done wonders for my tummy and digestion. I suspect I will use this supplement for life, even after being off abx for over 2 years.

Abx, I believe, really does damage our insides...WobenzymN fixed it right up for me!

Welchol

Eleutherococcus (following Buhner's recommendations of the Herb Pharm version, which is a stronger tincture than commonly sold here, or the Gaia Herbs Liquid Phyto-caps for times when it's easier to take a pill than mix up a liquid)

I don't know about the Q2 Foot Detox spa but a representative of Aqua Detox, a very similar product, was interviewed on a UK consumer programme about this article......

and he admitted that the supposed 'toxins' you see in the water are no such thing so as usual Lymies........ CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!!

Someone posted on here that they were helped with their acid reflux and GI problems with a "pine nut oil". It was found here: www.siberiantigernaturals.com

It was a shot in the dark, and we tried it for my daughter. She had to stop antibiotics due to stomach pain. This oil made her feel better almost immediately.

She now takes it every day and is able to continue her treatment. Good stuff...not a network marketing item, so there is no personal gain by mentioning this. Tastes nasty, but the benefits make it easy to overlook.

Also, Scott, from your website, the detox foot pads have really helped with leg itching. We figured it was toxins pooling in her calves, so we got them. She has more itch free days now.

The infrared sauna has been one of the best additions to our treatment plan. Can't say enough good about it. It's too soon to tell if this will help her go into remission, but using it on a daily basis sure brings comfort.

Dry mouth: Oasis spray, biotene mouth rinse. Dry eyes: Refresh eye drops

Kelly

Curious about...

"Mangosteen Whole Fruit Extract--xanthones, catechins, polyphenols, polysaccharides, potassium, phosphorus, calcium, iron, and vitamins B1, B2, B6 and C."

For more specific information (easy to understand), go here:

http://www.traceminerals.com/products/ultramangosteen.html

I see a lot of "alkaline" things in the above.

Other ideas (do you need the whys?)- off the top of my head:

Alka Max by TriMedica - comes with free pH paper (litmus)
CoQ10
Juvenon
Lecithin by Carlsons
Essential Formulas probiotics (contain nutrients in addition to the beneficial bacteria)
Gamma E by Jarrow Formulas (contains all)
Vitamin C, kids doses, more often
SOD by Solaray (contains all 3 enzymes)
Metamucil..cheaper than Questran
A good daily vitamin with minerals
Whey protein
Zantac and Pepto Bismol - briefly
Digestive enzymes - Digestive Gold
Gluco Reg by Solaray
Chorella
Ginkgo if tolerated
Selenium
Omega 3s (use Flaxseed/soybean formulas if allergic to fish)
Phosphatidyl Serine
d ribose...oh, yea! Plus creatine?
Maybe taurine..likely
Magnesium citrate (or possibly orotate)OR Mg with
Malic acid if you want to/need to chelate Al
Host Defense (beta glucans)- the beneficial mushrooms (esp. Lion's Mane)
Melatonin by Source Naturals, timed release IF you have trouble falling asleep, NOT if you are sleepy all the time.
St. John's Wort
Citrus D Limonene
B complex (water soluable so much less more often)
Liquimins makes liquid trace minerals (small bottles $6) that could be applied (dropper full)to the skin...and absorbed that way. Particular interest is zinc and copper (Zn, Cu).

Machines:
Far infrared saunas
Ozone saunas
Rife
Befe detox (foot soaks) or Aqua Chi
Miniature trampolines
(New)...Soloflex WBV...whole body vibration (run about $500) My kind of exercise ;-)

A bathtub...with epsom salts and baking soda OR sea salts

If you can afford...clay "detox" (it is put on your body, dries, and then is washed off. Some spas do this treatment. $$

Foods:

Dark colors...blue, red, purple.
Seeds and nuts...esp. pumpkin seeds, almonds, walnuts, brazil nuts, pecans
Fruits and veggies...fresh, organic if you can afford
Liver if you can stand it.
Beans (take Beeno if needed)
Salmon
Parsley, cilantro, garlic, etc. the herbs we KNOW are safe.

Beverages:

Water, Voss if you are rich, otherwise Pure Life by Nestle (not the flavored kind!)

P.S.

If pyrophosphate (remember Valletta's patent?) will release iron at the C terminal...I'm trying to understand PMID: 9283096

Benfotiamine?

Foxamax doesn't work...it INCREASES TNF alpha and CRP. OOPS. Wrong pyrophosphate. Don't bind it to Ca.
