This would be the time of night I would always find one of her fascinating new posts.

Just really missing her presence on the board.

I agree. I miss her as well. I suspect though that she is not missing the abuse she used to get here on the board.

Me too. I used to read her info. Maybe if we all made it clear we do not want people to abuse each other here but be respectful towards everyone's contributions, she might reconsider?

BTW, Marsy, A couple pages back, DocDave posted a long article on mercury in amalgams...

i find myself secretly hoping she will return.

she and her information are gold nuggets; rare, beautiful and priceless.

naysayers have/can never changed that.

scott: can't you have gigi post a "column" on your web page with all her wonderful info.

i know i wouldn't be on my road to recovery if it weren't for her directing me to dr. k.

warmly, lisa

I agree. When I've posted recently, I knew she would have had something valuable and unique to contribute and I've missed her wisdom and advice.

I have thought about having a "GiGi's Corner" on my site as well. I would be very excited if that worked out. We'll see if it is in the cards... [Smile]

Scott, I do hope it comes true!

I was exactly thinking how much this forum is missing without Gigi.

Maybe in your site, she'll get in touch with people that are interested in alternative approaches, and won't get the awful comments she gets here sometimes.

I do miss her posts A LOT !!!

wasn't me this time, i don't think.
i have been trying to be objective and
civil.

robin, if you read that article carefully,
i think the gigi in that article is our
gigi.
fits all the parameters.

PLEASE, PLEASE TELL ME IF I WAS MEAN TO HER!!!!!
IF I WAS IT WAS TOTALLY UNINTENTIONAL.
I DON'T ALWAYS AGREE WITH HER, BUT GOT KICKED OFF
LAST YEAR FOR BEING MEAN TO HER.

I HAVE CHANGED MY WAYS AND OPEN TO ALL FORMS OF TREATMENT.

HERE THAT CAVEEEY, YOU COULD DO THE SAME.

DocDave,
I'm impressed. It takes courage to be so candid. I don't think it was anything you said. I recall seeing things from others but actually only GIGI would know. Relax.:-) Glad you are open.

regarding gigi's past posts, i sent this suggestion to mo lately:

gigi...

we've got many newbies who want to help here/there, another idea:

your posting in medical stating we want to check treepatrol's newbie's links and make a listing of ALL GIGI'S POSTS ALREADY IN HIS ARCHIVES.

several people could take on this assisnment splitting up the huge volume of links by pages since tree has page NOS. he assigned all the way thru.

they click on every link there, if GIGI's name pops up as the person ORIGINATING THE Link, TO COPY THAT AND PASTE TO THEIR WORD PROCESSOR for an ongoing list ofALL her links in tree's archives .

for them to SAVE IT each time they add another new link so it doesn't get lost, and even make a BACKUP of each link so if one fails ; another is there so they do NOT have to start from scratch again.

then for this team of collectors to start ONE post showing: GIGI'S MEDICAL LINKS .. ALL KNOWN!

then for each person to PASTE their collection there until each person has this done.

then asking jenifer to make this MEDICAL "FEATURE" so it stays up to the top.

THEN PRINT OFF GIGI'S COMPLETE LIST OF TOPIC LINKS THAT HAVE BEEN COMBINED.

then for anyone who has EXTRA time to bring up GIGI'S MEMBERSHIP NO. and it will list up to 300 posts. click on posts she ORIGINATES, and compare that against "GIGI COMPLETE LIST OF LINKS IN TREEPATROL'S LINKS".

NOTE: they should then add on MORE links as they are found! to GIGI'S COMPLETE LINKS and to their word processor again SAVING EACH link they will ADD to ALL GIGI'S LINKS .

i think they can then indicate a DIFFERENT TIME FRAME to search, and come up with another 300 posts?? not sure on this but they could check with jenifer and/or toby for their help on this search feature.

what do you think mo?

did i lose you; hope not as this is the best i can explain with my neuro lyme mind! [confused]

DocDave,

I do not think it was you. I think it was not one specific person or incident, but just an ongoing series of events and negativity. Many people here are not open to anything but ABX and thus, it is sometimes difficult to convey any other message without getting blasted by people.

I have noticed that your posts are quite different from in the past and am excited to see you embracing different ideas.

Everyone:

I have talked with GiGi about posting a blog or the like on my site as one option. She is going to keep it in mind but is enjoying her time away at pressent and focusing on other important things in her life. If the opportunity presents itself, I would welcome having her on my site, possibly in the Public Health Alert, or elsewhere. Hopefully it will happen but I am in a way happy for her to be taking a break.

Be well,
Scott

Scott, a Gigi's corner, like a blog from Gigi, would be a very good idea. Because then you can post here about it from time to time. Meanwhile, it's good for her to take time off. People need to take long vacations from these message boards sometimes.

Yes Buhner refers to the Lyme wars and sometimes the war is being conducted on this forum!

She is in recovery from this forum! Let us all wish her well and be grateful for what she has brought us.

( Hence the need for a non-pharmceutical forum. If people want to endlessly talk about abx let them.)

DOCDAVE [hi]

Doc, actually, you were admonished for putting up a '80 flagpole on your Palm Beach compound. Where do you think the Donald got the idea?

Your '8 stripper pole didn't hurt, though... [Big Grin]

Gigi's absense leaves a big void on this forum. I have incorporated so many of her suggestions for my husband and myself. I still have questions for her, but understand her need for a break. I am grateful for all her efforts.

Recently, I did a search to try to find an answer to a question about my remedies, something which was causing me a lot of anxiety. After entering the key search word, I was led to several links that contained a voluminous amount of information, provided by Gigi. The answer was there.

I think about how much time and money I might have spent to find the answer to my question!!

Still confused about the adversarial nature here and have been for a long time.

Yes... so many of us here are very grateful for Gigi's efforts and understand the weight of her contributions.

Claire

I could almost say Gigi saved my life. If not my biological life, at least, in quality of life. It could even be that she saved my life, as my health was going downwards so fast and I had found no one to treat me.

She helped me find both my actual doctor and naturopath and without her, I would never had gone through this path for healing lyme and co-infections.

I have my life back, great part of it, is due to Gigi. I was a bit suspicious in the beginning because of the nature of things she was suggesting(ART, too much alternative treatments, metal detoxing sounded strange, jaw issues, etc).

I have been trying many of her suggested paths for healing and I have been amazed to see they have been working so well for me. Still not 'cured', but in the way!

My daughter too seems to be totally cured following the same treatment.

I MISS GIGI!!! The board without her is not the same.
