within the last 6 months have devoled secondary sjorgren's, maybe even longer .
right before my lyme kicks in full force, i get the sjogren's symptoms first.
very very dry red hurting eyes and camel breath mouth, dry nose , and little sweat.
i can now use this as an indicator to control my abx to fine tune. when the sjogren's symptoms go away the lyme decreases and i feel better.
i just changed my abx 2 days ago with red dry eyes, couldn'rt walk. changed to vantin, plaquenil, acyclovir and vfend and eyes went away, now blind.Lol my doc gives me full leway on how to change my drugs, since nobody really nows the answer.
i do believe the bb either mutate, into viral form, as i have said for a long time, or just become drug resistant.
my doc keeps records or all the combos i try and helps others in this manner.
so keep waiting the lab rat may find the combo.

A patient with ocular syphilis is presented. She experienced deterioration in vision following the commencement of treatment due to a Jarisch-Herxheimer reaction. This is a transient febrile illness that can occur in patients after the first adequate dose of an anti-microbial drug to treat infectious diseases such as syphilis, Lyme disease and relapsing fever. However, a Jarisch-Herxheimer reaction occurring in a patient receiving treatment for ocular syphilis can be serious, resulting in the rapid loss of vision.
