Hello all, I ran across this and was curious to know if anyone has heard of this or tried it, etc..

Sarsaparilla is a natural root (yes the one used with soft drinks) that apparently helps treat Lyme and even with MS as an anti-inflammatory.

ROOT BEER FOR LYME sounds good.

Thanks and Regards, Karl

HI Karl1-

As far as I know most commercial root beers don't use sarsapillar root any more. If they do they won't be in any theraputic doses for this herb.

here's some links:

See Mo's post- 8th one down-

hope this helps [Smile]
Blessings

Sarsaparilla has been discussed for some time. It is both part of the Buhner book Healing Lyme and part of Dr. K's protocol at neuraltherapy.com.

The corrected link for the above is:

I have been taking Sarsaparilla mainly as a detox, I have read it was good for the liver.

Very interesting.... Thanks for posting this.
