Hi Everyone,

... I had a new one inserted into my chest after the old one in my arm broke. This one seems more complicated as it has some kind of device to hold it in place (the nurse said the skin will grow around it--thus holding the line in place). I can feel it as a bump in my skin near the place were you take your pulse in your lower neck. Additionally it has the regular opening where the line itself comes out which is a few inches lower in the chest.

I noticed a day after the line was inserted that the wrap had partially come off and the hole the line came out through was being exposed to air. Since the line has been in I've felt really tired and really woosey, I've probably misspelled a dozen words in this post already.

I just wanted to know if anyone knew what this meant. My mind feels really woozy and sleepy throughout the day but a lot of times it won't fall asleep. Anyhow it feels different than what I thought a "herx" feels like (I think for me sudden chills, tiredness headaches etc. but usually not woosiness, ). Could anyone tell me what this might be?

Thanks, & sorry to be always asking questions

Thanks CaliforniaLyme, I did and they are going to do a culture from the line. I don't know how long it will take them to get results.
