My llmd suspects babs and lyme. I am now on art and samento along with fluconozale. Also, theralac, thyroid, phoschol, oramune max, astragulas, mangosteen juice. From my other post you can see that I just tried flagy but need to speak to him before continuing.
My question, Has anyone done well on just what I am taking now instead of prescription abx. I know the fluco is prescription but I'm only taking that for 3 weeks. I just feel like my body is so sensitive to traditonal abx.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Karen

Hi Karen, I may not be much help to you, since I cannot take Art due to a dangerous reaction to all quinine relatives, but I've been on Samento and no ABX for 3 years now. I have had some improvement in mood, in energy, and a lot less chills, but that is all, despite major herxing on it. However, I've never been able to get to the normal dose due to the unbearable herxing, so I may not be a very good example.
Unless your Lyme is in the very early stages, you may want to rethink taking Astragalus. It stimulates the entire immune system, and in later stage Lyme you don't want to do that. Samento is an immune modulator, and that is a better choice in later stage Lyme.
Best wishes,

Your best bet in treating lyme with herbs is to get the bokk "healing Lyme" by Buhner. it is available by clicking on the amazon link on this page. Lymenet will get a small donation if you buy it through this link. It is the best book about Lyme and natural treatment.
Hope this helps, robi
