anyone else ever experienced face swelling w/ lyme? all (or almost all) of my symptoms are still unilateral (left side) and my face will, from time to time, swell on the left side especially under my eye and on my cheekbone

sounds like SEVERE ALLERGY!
what are you taking for meds? call your pharmacist for their input ... hopefully, you GET ALL YOUR RX MEDS AND OVER THE COUNTER FROM THEM or have given them list of OTC/supplements to them!

periodically my son will say that his face feels puffy... and I can see a bit of swelling in his cheeks. He tends to have maxillary sinus pain (ie his cheekbones) and has Lyme & Babesia.

YES This is my MAJOR SX. My whole face-- the bones swell up . do you bones swell or is it the tissues? this is interesting as I've never heard about this from anyone else.

Well logically this is a sign of babesia as it inflames the venous system thus causing the swelling...
