Is this in the genetic form as good as in the Flagyl form?

Husband is taken 375 mg 2 times a day

For me, the generic of Flagyl has worked the same way as the brand name... so I would say yes, it's just as good, or at least similar enough. I was taking a higher dose than your husband (500mg twice daily).

Others may have had a different experience, just wanted to let you know it's been ok for me.

Good evening Pup,

Be sure to tap into your pharmicist's knowledge here.

I am not saying that this is not up to standard grade, but some meds just aren't and your pharm should be able to let you know which is acceptable.

Many need to really ramp up slowly with Flagyl due to an over abundance of cysts. Watch out for sudden mood swings, depression, headaches, cog. issues, etc...with this med.

Also, know that neuropathy can become an issue. If so, speak with your doc.

I did 1500mg but was pulsing it then.

My best,
melanie
