i have been in treatment now for about 2 months and I can't really tell herx from a symptomatic episode.
I know that that's a hard thing to do anyway but with respect to the nature of the symptoms:
do you guys have like a background level of symptoms that are always affecting you at all times?
because for me, it's like i'll be doing fine and then all of a sudden BAM I feel terrible, sudden onset of ringing in ears, headache, chest pain all that stuff. and that happens whether I'm on abx or not. lateley I've been developing a marked loss of balance and the muscle twitching has been coming on full force.
plus, I have these little broken capillaries on my hands and my LLMD said that that was not common in his experience. anybody else have this vasculitis?
just feeling scared and I get so much out of hearing about you much more experienced lymies.
Love to you and your families,
Baladeva

Yes, usually for me... But I have always gotten used to them. With that being said..... A herx is a INCREASE in your background symptoms.... so to speak.
You also said ...... "because for me, it's like i'll be doing fine and then all of a sudden BAM I feel terrible"
We all have cycles, and USUALLY lyme cycles every 4 weeks. So are you seeing an increase at this time?
OR... you can see an increase in symptoms with stress, mentstrual cycles, hormone levels, or the full moon. (No kidding)
You also said ..... "I've been developing a marked loss of balance and the muscle twitching has been coming on full force."
Some of these symptoms can be lyme or may be a lack of certain vitamins like magnesium. Or some muscule twitching can be caused by dehyration. So make sure you drink plently of water, and it also helps you to detox.
The best thing to do is keep tract of your symptoms and discuss them with your LLMD... Let him/her know whats going on.
