Hi,

I've been reading on the Beck protocol, another type of microcurrent therapy. I'm intrigued.

I have not seen any postings on it, and wonder if anyone has any experience with it.

Yes! Oh! Me! I have! I have! LOLOL

I thought my eyes were deceiving me when I saw the title to your post!

I have had *fantastic* success with the Beck protocol, even though I have only so far used one out of the four. Out of all the therapies, pills, herbs, etc. I have used for Lyme, the *one* thing that has given me the best results (and the most consistent) is the Sota Silver Pulser blood electrification unit (made by Sota, the only company that Beck endorsed in his lifetime) and part of his protocol.

I understand that this is similar to the KMT unit that Dr. K has (although not identical -- the Sota unit is set up to kill all pathogens on one setting, for example, and, it's way cheaper at only $225, actually they now have one for $115).

Using the unit gives me energy every morning. It is the *only* thing that has gotten me out of bed on most days, and it has enabled me to function more, dare I say almost like a normal person some days. All for the price of a weekly 9 volt battery.

After a few months of using it though, I finally realized that I needed to address the infections in my tissues and lymph because that's where the Lyme all is at this point. My blood is clean, but not the tissue/lymph.

So I just ordered part 2 of the Beck protocol, the Magnetic Pulser. I am very excited and have already heard anecdotally that one person with Lyme managed to eradicate it using these two things (Silver Pulser and Magnetic Pulser). I think this is the missing piece, because although I get great energy from the blood electrification, I felt like I had hit a wall and I think it's all the gunk/pathogens still trapped/hiding in my lymphatic system and tissue.

I've hesitated to do a big post about my success with the Sota unit, just because if you read Beck's writings and research and interviews, he says that you are not supposed to take any herbs or medication while using the pulser, because it causes electroporation, i.e. the blood absorbs whatever's in your system at an astronomical rate while the pulser unit is on and you can have serious effects from it.

I've been using it even though I am taking abx -- so far it hasn't been a problem, I just really try to take them as far away from when I pulse as possible. But I do worry that this won't be the case for other people and that people on as many meds and herbs as us Lymies should use this with *extreme* caution.

Anyway, I can't say enough good about the unit I currently have, or Sota as a company. I've been in touch with them a lot, they are sort of tracking my progress. Their service is excellent.

I am just waiting to get my mag pulser and see what that does. I am *so* excited. it penetrates nine inches and apparently just kicks pathogen butt in the lymph/tissues.

Just this week I have been reading everything about Beck I can get my hands on. Fascinating stuff. Happy to answer any questions if I can.

P.S. Wherefore and hitherto....Whatever the boilerplate is about me not having any affiliation with them, not making any profit or selling any of these....yadda yadda yadda...just a happy customer...etc.etc....they are a canadian company...I am a Canadian...that's about it.... [Smile]

I'm intrigued. I've never heard of this.

Can one of you post a link where I can read some basic information?

Thanks -

We got the schematics from a paper available through www.sharinghealth.com, and will be building our own units. Apparently Beck's mission during the last years of his life was to make this technology cheap and available to anyone. We'll see how well it works for us.

So are these products like tens-units that emit electric pulses?

I am never sure of sites that sell products, but don't really say what they do, how they are used or what they are used for. Guess I'm a skeptic.

I also had to wear a tens unit for physical therapy after a car accident. I hated the zaps and it never did help my frozen muscles.

But that's just me, of course. [Smile]

I would not put my hopes too high. Three years ago I joined a German Yahoo-Group dedicated to the Beck protocol. My plan was eventually to stop abx one day if I saw that the people there made good progress.

Well, I'm still on abx ...

I only read of 1 cure (only in Dec. 2006 so this might not last). I think all the others are still fighting.
