I've heard red root is good for this. I have it in a tonic mixed with echanacia (sp?).

Also if your feet don't hurt too much and you have the energy, jumping on a mini trampoline 10 minutes a day helps since the lymph system runs upwards in your body.

There is also lymph massage therapists who are trained in lymph drainage or cleansing, I've never been to one but have done self massage on lymph node areas.

Yes, Red Root tincture is excellent for cleansing your lymph system. Milk THistle is also good. I take BOTH.

Also, Sarsaparilla is excellent for cleansing your blood. All taken together, will keep you in the "pink" as it were.

I am unsure if you have this in USA but we use a machine called CACI Lymph - it is designed as a mechanical Lymph drainage origianally used in Hospitals for patients with severe oedema, it is now used in clinics to clear toxins, it is very powerful and you only need 20 minutes once per week.

There's no reason to take red root with echinacea in our case- take it alone (there exists a long explanation for this advice- but basically echinacea just isnt' the right herb- they sell it packaged together for people with acute cold/flu symptoms and the echinacea part won't help us in chronic Lyme symptoms because it's only action in colds/flu is different than what we need herbally for Lyme).

Red root sold separately is at lots of health food stores. WOrks well.

I stumbled upon a Russian massagist that has healing hands and she did lymph drainage treatments once a week on me for about 3 months and then every two weeks, etc. Monthly for the last 18 months.

My lymph system was so clogged, no wonder I felt like a walking talking toxic time bomb. I was too toxic to do light massages on because of the pain.

You might be able to start with a person and proceed to the mini trampoline after they get you flowing.

I agree, you don't want the combo herbs. I make my own Red Root tincture. It is much cheaper that way, but the stuff you buy readymade should be good too, if you get it from a reputable seller.

Take the Red Root, Milk Thistle and Sarsaparilla and your lymph system will NOT get clogged to begin with; usually. Only IF you take TOO MANY abx and/or herbs.
