My husband has started using a KMT and experiences increased twitching on several settings.
Would this be considered a herx? He was told to back off the time use and slowly increase. Has any one else reacted to the KMT this way or is he overly sensitive? He is also on Chinese herbs.

I think the increased twitching is normal while using the unit. I use something similar to the KMT, and that happens to me sometimes.

Thanks, Alison. How long does your increased twitching last and do you notice any improvement when it decreases?

My twitching only seems to happen (mostly) when I'm actually using the unit, and for me it seems to be related to the electric stimulus directly. I'm not sure what it is, maybe just axons and dendrites misfiring or resetting? Parasites? The usual neurological Lyme suspects?
I do twitch at other times when I'm not using the unit, usually at night or if I have caffeine, but it's been a lot better lately. I do think parasites are a good possibility.
I also wanted to mention -- blood electrification can cause elctroporation -- that's where hyper-absorption happens. Anything in your system while you use it can be absorbed at a higher rate than normal in your bloodstream.
Be cautious with the chinese herbs, maybe don't take them right before you use the unit. I was doing some reading and I wish I could find the article but someone was using a similar unit to treat cancer and was taking chinese herbs in particular and it had a toxic affect.
I am only somewhat familiar with the KMT, so I don't know if it's used directly over arteries where major bloodflow happens. If not, electroporation might not be a big issue. With my unit, I just try and not take any meds or herbs before I use it, and instead take them after I use it.

Based on my experience with the KMT using it myself, that does not sounds like a concern. It could be a herx reaction.

I would go slow. I had to stop using the programs in the beginning, and increased the number of minutes every day.
I also had a recent trouble with it because I overdosed! I got so many toxins in my body! Now I'm using it only once every 2-3 days.

Thanks, Scott and Selma. Was wondering if you overdosed with the machine itself, or from something else?

I guess I overdosed mainly with the machine.
For example: I wanted to treat my hands and whole body with program 1. I used then the program 1 2x day, once connected to my head and feet, then arms and feet. Not a good idea. Better to do in two different days.
Then next day, I did the funghi program, very tough when you're fighting funghi strong. I also increased the dose of Rizols by myself, so I killed even more. Not a good idea either.
In the end, I had a sort of mini-collapse. I didn't improve anymore anywhere, I felt tired. I thought it was the bugs coming back: no, it was an overdose of toxins in the blood.
My doctor said my immune system was over-excited, working too much. I had to have it calmed down. I guess that was caused mainly by overdosing with the KMT.
I stopped almost all the killers, took overdoses of cleansers, lymph drainage, and in two days was feeling much better. It took me 2 weeks to get back to normal.
