There are many reasons that I do not want to do the IV - Glutathione thing... so I am trying to boost it another way.

My family doctor suggested NAC. This made me sick as crap. My stomach could not tolerate it at all !

My new doc treating me for Babesia pointed me in the direction of Immunocal from Immunotec.

I have only tried it for 2 days and it doesn't seem to effect my stomach at all. This is a great thing.

So for everyone out there that is Glutathione savy, is Immunocal's bonded cysteine approach viable ???

I hear that straight Glutathione is not absorbed through the stomach, hence the IV treatments.

I want to know if Immunocal is the BEST way that I can give my body what it needs to make Glutathione ????

Any suggestions and thoughts will be greatly appreciated !

Thanks !

I use glutathione cream from wellness pharmacy. This is a good alternative to IV.

I've been taking undenatured whey, which provides glutathione precursors.

savebabe, I could not find the cream. Do you have a link ?

Also, how long has everyone been taking their supplements ?

Can you tell a difference in how you feel ?

I know the amino acids are good, no matter what, I just want to know if anyone has noticed anything notable from taking non-IV Glutathione or pre-cursors ?

I'm looking for good news [Big Grin]

I have been doing the Glut IV pushes bi-weekly for several months. I always have some major bowel movements for a couple of days afterward.

Recently my doctor and I decided to try to cut back to once monthly and see how I do. I did terrible. My pain level began to increase and I began trying other methods of heavy metal detox such as Dr K's protocol, Destroxin (zeolite), rebounding and medi-body packs.

I ended up in a horrible mess with my right knee blown up 4x it normal size and excrutiating pain in joints.

I rushed back to my doctor who very patiently said "you can not pull metals fast". This isn't the first time he has told me this.

I got the glut IV again and it took a week to start to feel normal.

With my doctor's blessing, I have also begun taking NAC and Immunpro for the precursors that are supposed to promote glutathione in my body. Too soon to see any real difference.
