Now they're changing their name to Central Florida Research, Inc.

What a breakthrough for the Lyme commmunity!

See bubbear & robi's posts for more details.

I hope to hear details of pricing and insurance coverage next.

I'm thrilled!
Nancy

Nancy, I don't think the test has been "approved" by anybody yet - just the new lab.

Or, maybe you have some additional info that hasn't yet been posted on the board?

I just don't want to jump the gun here and put out erroneous information.

It's true! I just got off the phone with Tom, the administrator.

$250 if you pay the overnight postage.

$300 if you get the FedEx overnight clinical package with pre-paid postage.

You can send your blood samples now!

They do not have a Medicare number assigned to the test yet...that could take up to 3 months, but they're applying for it.

You have 6 months to file for reimbursement of the cost of test to your insurance ...I need to clear this up. Don't know if I'm saying this exactly right. It may take up to 3 months to get the Medicare cpt code if the request goes through fast.

Call Tom at Central Florida Research and ask him.

This lab isn't Bowen Labs. The receptionist and the bookeeper from Bowen were hired from Bowen. Central FL Research has been operating for about 2 years now.

Hi KLSCT,

Give them a call and find out:
1-863.956.3538 Central Florida Research Inc.

See the press release posted by bubbear and the post by robi.

Bowen closed, they moved their operation to Lake Alfred, FL and have changed their name to CFR.
