I'm so sorry to hear this Eric, I hope it clears up soon. I think there may be medication that can help, ask your LLMD okay?

Have had vertigo, I used OTC motion sickness pill Bonine. Draminine made me too sleepy.

I can't work for this reason mainly. I can't think straight at all, and my job requires thought instead of physical(although physical is pretty bad also.
Also, get Meclizine... ask the pharmacist if they have it behind the counter. It is a lot cheaper than bonine or the commercial OTC products(these have Meclizine in them).

Eric, are you still having problems with this?
Vertigo is a huge problem for me - like you, I have babs, bart, and many more co-infections.
In 2005 I saw a great ENT, ran lots of tests, and found out that I have inner ear damage from long-term infections. It's likely permanent.
He prescribed rehab exercises, to retrain my brain so that it disregards info received from the damaged inner ear (for me, right side).
I still have vertigo, but it has lessened - whether from the exercises or abx treatment, I don't know.
Your vertigo could be from a herx or a side effect of meds - but thought I'd throw this out there as another option to explore if it continues.

The only thing I have found to really help was acupuncture.
After 3-4 sessions...it was amazing.
I was then able to work.

Cathy -- that is a great idea! Acupuncture really helped me with many of my LD symptoms way back when I didn't even know what I had. Not only did it have a stablizing effect, physically, but I felt balanced emotionally for the first time in a long long time.
Eric -- It is true that acupuncture could be a very nice adjunctive therapy! Very relaxing!!
