hey
just so i can get a general idea of regimens lymies take, i was wondering if everyone can make a list of medications and herbs they
take..comprehensive.

so meds/herbs you take and maybe in the past that have helped with eradicating the infections as

well as controlling symptoms like aniexty, fatigue, brain fog, pain, inflammation..etc...

thanks guys, i really appreciate your input.

Lonna

Lonnie: I am just a newby compared to most people on here. Been on here about 6 mos and do not understand half of what everyone is talking about. Have still not found an llmd in Indiana but have picked up a lot of ideas on here. I have been taking garlic, oregeno oil, cats claw and echenasia for immune. Not really sure if any are helping. But, I do swear by the detox pads for the pain in my feet. Thought it sounded so crazy but decided anything was worth a shot. They work miracles. My feet were hurting so bad I can't stand to walk and put pressure on them. I put the pads on over night for a day or two - and miraculously the pain disappears.

I'm on

I have a theory that those whom contracted lyme cogentally/from mother vs those that got a direct bite have a different immune response and react different to treatment.....Mine is cogenital......

2000-2002 time period with LLMD when I had Insurance in Houston just about everything...
What worked to some extent .. Rochephin cleared the really bad brain fog, collective task oriented things still really bad, Flagyl cleared IBS and ICS..sure it killed some cyst form as well, but also made me feel like I was going to croak for months I was on it.. couldnt make it without Diazapam and Vistaril which is an antihistimine and a CNS depressant so blocks histimine/inflammation which is huge and blocks nerve signals to the brain..makes you sleepy for a few days..Licorice Root, Sarsaparilla, Magnesium, Ginsing...........................Nothing worked fully back then because I believe undiagnosed hypercoagulation...thick blood/typical immune reaction to bacteria long term etc.....................Now, no insurance, limited care in texas through gold card, but amazingly enough 4th yr med student recommended long term 2 yr or more of abx's, but starting at very low dose since I have such a bad reaction and no one to help .. that does not stop to the ones that work .. Dox, Erethomyocin(sp) liquid (childs dose) flagyl low dose .. havent started yet and will increase as tolerated ..allergic to Heparin and will not start until they or I find something to thin my blood in a consistant manner since I already had one heart attack last yr from hypercoagulation..Natto doesnt work for me..try working with no insurance in tx!! Still taking diazapam and Vistaril. I cant take any kind of stimulant, not even sarsaparilla, not even tea..wigs my heart .. cant take any immune stimulant .. I can take Immune Modulators, havent seen any modulating happening from them. Ohhhhhh, joint pain..fish oil from walmart works when vicodin stronger tabs did nothing, 2-1000mg fish oil caps three times day (wonderful, for some reason Walmarts Spring valley works better), -Blood thinners Vit E, Bromelain (great), ginger root, other Energy Co Q-10..this could improve energy in many, its found in every cell in the bod, is needed and play essential role of production of ATP..I use to get muscle pain after light walking..Q-10 helped that..But most of all Get a Blood Test for Hypercoagulation/thick blood..Hexex Lab is the best, but whatever you can do. When you research Q-10 youll find its an antibacterial, anti-fungal etc etc etc, so high doses made me herx...find it on ebay, two sellers sell it at around 40 percent norm price found on the net. Other, Multi and High dose B's are very very important. Lavender essential Oil works great to induce sleep and for aches and pains..........we are all effected differently and are at different stages so what we need and how our systems reaction are highly individual... Sorry so scattered, hope this helps...Cindy
