Can someone tell me which antibiotics are cell wall inhibiting? And which are of a different type/function?

If an antibiotic is cell wall inhibiting, does this mean it pushes the Lyme into cyst form?

Please let me know if the following are cell wall inhibiting. Many thanks.

Ceftriaxone
Doxycycline
Zithromyacin

I have been told biaxin, flagyl, amoxy and doxy are good ones for early lyme and penetrate the cell wall barrier.

My doctor has given me biaxin, amoxy, and now this ceftin. I absolutely could not tolerate the biaxin and doxy almost put me in the ER.

I apologize but I don't really understand this at all. I mean, the blood barrier thing.

It is easy to confuse the idea of cell wall barrier transfer, and opening Borrelia cysts.

It is thought that when Borrelia is in it's cell wall deficient form (mycoplasma) it can get inside of human cells.

Look into salt opening the cell wall barrier to antibiotics and immune system function. Sorry I don't have a link on this, but have read some on it. Perhaps someone else has links and a more complete explanation.

I don't know if some antibiotics are supposed to be better than others at killing Bb or co-infections through cell walls.

Antimicrobials such as Flagyl (Metronidazole)and other azoles, and hydrochloroquine are thought to be able to open borrelia cysts so that antibiotics can kill the spirochetes that come out of them. http://www.ilads.org/burrascano_0905.html

It is also hypothesized that protease enzymes and bee venom therapy will open cysts.
