hi everyone I have vertigo when looking up or down and strange sensations with vision from the back of the head...I think it was from the die off of artimisinin...does anyone else get this type of dizzyness.it is only when moving head and looking up..I had this four years ago when I was acute and now it is back along with other very hard to function symptoms...also I feel like tingling all over the body..this all started after the art..so any suggestions would be welcome..it is interesting that I have regained function of mucus in the sinuses and that had been gone for years..but others symptoms got worse..I am on zithromax for bart and doxy for lyme.. eric

Hi Polar Blast,
I have this too....especially when I am herxing.
I didn't really have it on malarone/zith combo....Just started doxy again last week and that sensation is back with a vengeance.
I've never been on art so I have no experience with possible symptoms associated with it.
I try not to look up or turn my head quickly. Kind of hard to do when having two young children who are constantly moving.
Hope you get past this symptom soon.

I am on Zithromax IV and several other ABX for Lyme, Babs & Erhl. I too have major vertigo from time to time and mine is only when I move my head a certain way as well.
I hate the strange head sensations and sometimes they really freak me out.
It comes and goes and I seem to associate the worst of it when I am herxing. I also get the tingling sensations in my body as well. Those too come and go.
Good Luck.

Yup, been there, done that for years. Not fun.
What I can say is thyroid hormone supplemention, enough to be considered hyperthyroid by conventional measures, abates the vertigo for me, but no doctor has been able to explain why.
