There can be different reasons for this... did you take pepto bismol? That can do it. Otherwise, there's other things. I would go to doctor(if it isn't temporary).

My daughter woke with a black tongue in her first week of doxy. Ped. said it can affect tongue that way. It went away after about 24 hours. Pepto will aslo do it. Kris

Toward the end of when I was on flagyl and zithromax a few years ago, I also had black tongue. It only went away after I got off the abx. On other abx, I did not have the black tongue, but always had mouth/tongue irritation.
However, I have been using Theralac with my current abx (ketek and omnicef) and have had no problems. I previously was taking other probiotics, but only Theralac seems to make a huge difference. I wish I had known about it years ago.

I saw a good post here about pepto bismol and got myself some tablets yesterday to help my stamach with doxy. This morning I saw black tongue but no way I would figure it's because of pepto bismol!
