Hello,

To convince our Dr(s) to give my partner IV meds, I charted 30 of the most significant symptoms for both her and myself on an Microsoft Excel chart, over almost 3 months. Walking the printouts into the Dr is what got her the IV treatment, as they were prepared to use the charts in giving a clinical diagnosis. The charts also showed the immediate decline in symptoms as the IV began to work. She had chronic Nuro-Lyme, and it was gone at the end of the IV treatment.

I'd be happy to email the file of the completed charts to anyone who feels they could utilize them by putting in their own data to convince their own Dr.

Of course I have removed our names, but have left the data so that the charts stay in tact until you put your own data in. When printed off and put in a nice presentation binder, they were very convincing for the Dr, and I haven't heard of any other patients doing the same thing. I am aware that you can track your symptoms on a couple of web sites but this will give you a print-out that should impress your Dr.

It is a simple MS Excel file which I could email to anyone who feels they would help them get treatment. Just send me a personal message and it'll be in your inbox before you know it.

God Bless...
Cheers, Paul

I've created similar, but such charts can receive mixed reactions. Sadly, some doctors will immediately label anyone who walks in with a list of 30 symptoms to simply be a hypochondriac.

Thank you, Paul!

I used to see an LLMD that had me keep a daily symptoms chart for years. It was very valuable tool, making it incredibly obvious to see improvement or lack of.

dguy, note to self: never try to herd a moose with a helicopter... or a doctor with a chart!

Yup, never let the facts get in the way of billing the insurance company for the consult, whether or not it helped!
