hi all,
i friend reffered me to the book "the amazing liver cleanse" by andreas moritz. it looks like a lot of people w lyme may be good candidates for this as the
years of abx must cause tons of blockages on the liver. also after reading the book it makes me wonder if liver toxicity could be one of the reasons many of us ended up contracting lymes in first place and not eradicating it when first infected. anyway just wanted to see if any other lymies have tried this liver cleanse and if they had any benefit. please chime in.

regards,
electric

Hi electric,

I actually know Andreas -- he is a wonderful man and a font of good healing knowledge. I have not done his particular liver flush, although I have done several of another kind with great success.

I have heard anecdotally of people having cleansing success with his specific flush. I think it is gentler than some of the other flushes.

My liver enzymes have been slowly creeping up so I think it's time for me to do another one!

Alison

re liver cleanses, I have seen Liv.52 touted, as well as Dr.Schultze's liver cleanses.

Anyone have experience with these?

I am having gallbladder trouble, so my TCM doctor prescribed a liver cleansing drink, since she says if your gallbladder is sick, your liver is overburdened. I make it up myself and drink 4 0z. before each meal.

It is made from unsweetened cranberry juice, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, apple juice, stevia, and plenty of clean water.

No, I haven't. BUt then I don't need to as I KEEP my liver up to par by taking Red Root tincture, Milk Thistle and Sarsaparilla on a daily basis. And only take herbs which don't KILL as much so there fore NOT as much of a problem.

My liver tested perfect last fall.

Hi snowboarder,

I woudl say that Dr. Schulze's liver cleanse is probably one of the most gentle I know. I've done that one several times and I think it's really good.
