Does anybody know what effect IV vitamins would have on Lyme?

Specifically:
Magnesium Sulfate 3cc
Sodium bicarbonate 2cc
Dexpanthenol (b-5) 2 cc
Ascorbic Acid 30 cc
Vitamin B Complex 3 cc

Before I was diagnosed I had some IV vitamin therapy and I wonder if there was a relationship between that and the start of my cardiac arrhythmias and my going deeper into the Lyme hole.

Yes the IV was slow (2 hours i think) and the fluid was mixed that day.

The only thing I came up with at the time was the possiblity that the pH wasn't properly balanced, and a pH imbalance set off the arrhythmias.

Recently I saw a naturopath to get a second opinion on my treatment plan. She said that perhaps the IV may have in some way "uncovered" a surface level of my illness and "unveiled" a deeper level of dysfunction. These were not her words, but my understanding of them.

It got me thinking about whether or not Borreliosis responds to vitamin C or B or anything in the mix may have either stimulated the bacteria, or killed off a number and created a herx.

I keep looking back, especially on this last year and trying to understand what I can with the understanding *now* that I had lyme. At the time I did not know, just knew I was sick.

Thanks for your attempt to help.

Karen
