I'm seeing some obvious improvement over the last several days.

Have had multiple tick bites rashes since age 7. I'm 42. Have had or currently have all lyme symptoms.

No significant positives on local Elisa and WB. High Q-rib. CFR flow cytometry neg.
No more blood testing please. Too expensive and depressing, no insurance coverage.

Muscle testing positive for borrelia, babesia, and bartonella.

On third week of a four week bart homeopathic from Deseret Biologicals. First two weeks were awful!!! Pain, muscle weakness, neuro symptoms.

Have used Sota instruments "silver pulser lite" for blood purification two hours a Day as in Beck protocol, for three weeks. Definite exhaustion herx, but different from Bart remedy.

Intermittent use of Sota magnetic pulser. Felt like I had been hit by a truck the first time. Didn't ramp up.

Two manual lymph drainage therapy sessions. Wanted to puke the next day.

Ten drops a day of Oregon Grape as antibiotic. Watch the candida.

Mega supplements according to Wilson protocol for adrenals.

On cortisol, progesterone, testosterone, T3.

Sweats 4x wk, plus lightly salted water and liquid minerals, and some chlorella.

Three liters of water a day with lemon.

Over the last few days I have had to reduce hormone therapy by 1/3, lost major sugar cravings.

Have had the energy to clean my house, and get hopping mad about school issues, rather than hopeless and depressed. I feel like exercising.

Less pain, not waking me up at night. Much more mobility in shoulder. Less bladder irritation.

Somethings working.

BeJoy,

Thank you for the update. I am watching your posts about the Bart homeopathic remedy with great interest, given that Bart is a huge issue for me and I'm only up to half a dose of the Rifampin for it.

Please keep us posted.

And congratulations - who would have ever guessed that having energy to do housework would seem like such a great thing. Only Lyme patients can understand the thrill of being able to clean one's house!

Bejoy:

I am encouraged that you mentioned the Beck protocol. I have been using the pulsers for a few weeks now & know of another Lymenetter who has as well. I won't speak for the other person, but I am encouraged by the herx/increased energy results so far.

Fatigue, achiness and swollen lymph nodes are the herx side. Little bursts of stamina, when I need it, are the upside.

Hard to explain but, I think the reactions are more positive than negative.

I look forward to reading more of your progress with all protocols.

Thanks for posting.

Bejoy,

Would you mind telling us how long you have had lyme and how long it took to be diagnosed. Soemone told me homeopathic remedies do not work for chronic lyme, but if you have chronic lyme and it is working, then maybe I have more ammo to use against the critters.

Glad you are seeing improvement. Blessings. Hiker

Herx update:

I've got a nasty rash, mostly around my waistline, but on arms and legs too. Its little red raised welts that itch and burn, some with centers.

I think its probably a Bart herx from the Bart remedy, but who ever knows.

Mag pulsed 30 minutes yesterday on various sites. Less pain and more mobility on shoulder that I have worked the most before. Other areas feel like a fall down the stairs.

Using the magnetic pulser on my bladder. It feels kind of inflamed the next two days, then feels quite a bit better than before.

I think the blood electrification unit is really doing something amazing.

It is a little microcurrent machine that you attach wires to your wrist and put the unit in your pocket, then go about your business for two hours.

Beck says it kills microorganisms in the blood, and makes the blood cells healthier. (Sota makes no claims whatsoever.)

Blood banks use a similar technology outside the body to purify donations.

Initially it made my jaw hurt, especially where I had a root canal! Now, not so much. I think I must have somehow been clearing out a low grade absess. Weird.

Carol, clad to hear you are feeling better too.

Randibear, I charged my husband a day looking after our little one today for cleaning the house yesterday, while my older daughter and I go for a massages and out to lunch.

Hiker, I have had multiple tickbites. I was possibly infected with Bartonella when I was 7. I had encephalitis. I remember that my best friend next door had "cat scratch fever" about the same time.

Bit by multiple ticks on a trip across the country at 22 (20 years ago.) That's when more of the physical symptoms started.

Bejoy:

Again, thanks for posting this, especially your experience with the SP and MP instruments. I am having similar results and a few minor setbacks with these tools.

As for the rash, it could also be yeast. I know that when I had systemic yeast I broke out in a rash and hives on my torso and thighs. It eventually went away. I took Diflucan (pretty expensive) but, I think Nystatin worked better and, a change in diet. Just some thoughts for you.

Came back to remind myself that I will feel better again-almost don't have it in me to type or keep sitting here. It was last night-at 7:30Pm when the plug got pulled and the life ran out of me.

I can hardly move, everything hurts, at least my brain stem seems intact because I keep breathing and my heart keeps beating.

Thanks for the good new, Bejoy!

Bejoy, did you order the Deseret Bart remedy yourself, or did your doc have to get it for you? (I am assuming you are working with a doctor who recommended this remedy.)

Hiker, whoever told you that homeopathic remedies don't work for chronic Lyme is very much mistaken. Treatment just becomes more complicated for both the patient and the practitioner the longer you have had the problem - much like treatment using mainstream medicine.

Hi bejoy,

That is fantastic news!!!

I am also using the Beck protocol and have had similar results - wicked herxing from the magnetic pulser but it also really helps with the pain in specific areas and soreness and lymph drainage.

Actually, it alternately puffs me up from all the lymph activity while I also have major drainage particularly from all the lymph nodes on my neck. I'm using the silver pulser also and it's been great for energy in addition to blood cleaning. it is so encouraging to hear about how it's working for you and also beachcomber's progress too! [Smile]

Thanks for posting about your progress. I have Bart too but we spent about 5 months treating it and I think it might be mostly usder control although I am still interested in the homoeopathic rememdy and may get some.

Please keep us posted!

[Smile]

I'm still doing pretty well, so it wasn't just momentary wishful thinking. I even made it through Costco with a three year old with no back-up, and no panic attack, spacey confusion, or drop dead exhaustion. That's progress.

The Bart Remedy is from Deseret Biologicals. They don't have it on their website, so you'd have to call them. I got it from my chiropractor. At some point I'll do some more research on it and I'll post.

Longterm I don't know how this is going to turn out, but short term its pretty amazing.

I find myself needing to stretch like a cat all day. The muscle rigors are releasing, and I can even touch my toes, which hasn't happened in a while.

Weird rash still though. Could even be a mild case of shingles. I don't care as long as I feel pretty good.

I know its probably time to add more to the protocol so I can feel horrible again, but I think I'll enjoy for a week.

Wishing you all the best.

I checked out the Deseret website, and it does state:

"We only accept orders form licensed healthcare practitioners."

That's what I thought, since they are selling nosodes.

Could those who use the magnetic pulsar please post where they bought them at? I have been thinking about getting a Beck blood cleaning device, but now I have more reasons to try some other electrotherapy experimentation.

We have my wife's Lyme under control with the Rife machine so I did not see the need to use anything else. Now I have been officially diagnosed with Crohn's disease. Damn, first one of my son's is diagnosed with Hidradenitis Suppuritiva, an incurable skin disease. Then my wife's Lyme disease and now I have Crohn's. When it rains it pours! The Lyme, in comparison seems like the easy one to control. Not sure why my family gets the most obscure and least understood diseases but that is the hand we are dealt. All we can do is make the most of it and hopefully learn something in the process and share it.

Anyway, I am up to the task of trying to find either good treatments without nasty side effects or attempting to cure all of these bloody conditions. I am not interested in using immune suppressers which is one of my options. I think a Beck blood cleaner is going to be one thing I am going to use regularly since it should only promote less bacteria & viruses which are possibly behind all of these conditions. I need to find a good one.

Thanks everyone for all of the past information. I really enjoy this site for its wide diversity of approaches and the normally civil discussions. It helps me just to read about so many people willing to help others. Keep up the good work.

D Bergy

Four week update:

I have one dose left of the one-month 10 dose Bart remedy. I visit chiropractor tomorrow and will find out what remedies he recommends next, and may be able to post more about homeopathics.

I've been mag pulsing the bladder about 5 minutes daily. I'm getting some significant improvement in bladder symptoms, especially at night when they usually used to flair up. I sometimes feel a little inflamed or swollen, but different from the usual discomfort.

Continuing to use the Sp lite in vivo blood purifyer. I wonder if it might possibly be pulling infection out of the tissues, because of the continued reactions in my jaw where I have had root canals.

I'm using a hot tub for heat treatment and detox. (I'd love to have a FAR sauna, but will make due with what I have.) It makes the rash get better, and I feel less pain and more energy the next day.

I added three salt tablets into my regimen and woke up feeling like I had a bad flu the next day. Reduced to two tablets, and the flu symptoms reduced, but are still hanging around. I'm tying to double my water consumption, with extra minerals.

I hope my experience will help others who are looking at alternative treatments. With complete respect for the path that each and every member chooses. There is no cookie cutter cure, personality, checkbook, or spiritual inspiration. My best to all.

Just wanted to send out some encouragement for folks, that alternative and low cost treatments can work for some, and seem to be working well for me.

I'm gettting my life back. It's a good thing.

Muscle testing from my fabulous kinesiologist says that I currently don't need to treat for borrelia, babesia or bartonella.

Intuitively and with my own muscle testing, I think I still have borrelia and bartonella, but that it is mostly dormant, and that the treatment priority for the moment is liver detox. (I plan to stay after the keets for life, if necessary.)

I've had ups and downs, bouts of the flu, complete meltdowns after sleep loss, good days, and can't move days. I'm still very, very...very tired much of the time, but over all at the moment, I'm doing pretty well!

Here's what I can do that I couldn't three months ago:

Get out of a chair without hobbling around for a minute afterwards.

Fix dinner almost every night for my family.

Get the laundry done and put away in a weekend.

Go to work fifteen hours a week instead of two or three

Exercise four or five times a week for about twenty minutes.

Go shopping with a three/four year old, and come home with what I went out for. Put the groceries away the same day I bought them.

Be nice to my husband.

Find my words well enough to have a conversation about politics.

Sleep through the night without getting up to pee and take more ibuprophen.

Get interested in creative projects and home improvements.

Plan summer excursions with the hope/expectation that I'll be able to go, and will even have some money to get me there.

My treatments include a protocol of swallowing something, hooking up to something, soaking in something, applying something, or meditating about something about every two hours throughout the entire day. (Sometimes I'm so tired of it all!!!!)

But I will keep doing it to the point of manageable herx every day until my kids get out of school June 1st. Then, we'll see.

Best wishes to you all in your healing process.

Bejoy-I've beenthinking of you- and thought you must be doing well enough to have a life because i didn't see you much on board-that's great.

And BTW I have enjoyed reading Anne Lamott and listening to Shaina Noll thanks to you!

I go for a picc line today-other end of the treatment spectrum I guess-but this past Sunday I had the best day ever-although I did crash on Monday.

Even my LLMD made the comment-"it's in your eyes-looks like somebody's home !" [Smile]

Thanks for the support and encouragement. Yes, I've been getting my life back, and not zoning so much in front of my computer lately. I've been on the last couple of days trying to contribute here and there.

Carol, I'm soooooo glad the light is coming back on for you! I'll look for you on your IV line. I'm glad you're enjoying the books and music!

Some days are like magic, and still some days I don't want to get off the floor. But the trend is definately upward! Nothing I do brings about the kind of pain and fatigue I used to have.

I'm going to try to keep hitting it hard every day until summer. Then I'll see if I can back off a little, do some coasting, and enjoy my kids!
