HI everyone. I have now been on Buhner's core protocol for 6 weeks (I bumped up to full dose after only one week). I am also taking other herbs from his book, Sarsparilla, Stephania, Red Rood. I am alsoing alot of detox teas and greens.

I have also been on ABX (Doxy 200 mg 2x a day). For almost 4 weeks. With all of this no herx. I feel fortunate so far. What could this mean ?

I have felt a slight improvement of several symptoms.

Another question, as long as one is treating the disease and co infections, is one safe from the progeression of the disease ? In other words are we now safe from triggering more serious symptoms or even other conditions ?

Thank You

TWO things come to mind for me:

Namely: You are on a pretty good protocol, and the Red Root and Sarsaparilla are MOST LIKELY helping to keep you from herxing. They did me.

All of this is helping to keep your Lymph system cleansed and working the way it should and NOT piling up with dead ketes and other things.

The second thing is you are not as super-sensitive as some others who herx on almost nothing. This SHOULD help you to be able to heal better.

I don't know IF you are EVER totally SAFE. However you should be tremendously slowing down ANY progression of any bb.

You don't say exactly WHAT all your symptoms are so hard to be more exact.

That's very similar to my experience with both doxy and the BUhner protocol. I did a lot of detox stuff with the doxy (I took chlorella, welchol, and bentonite clay in the very beginning when starting my doxy) and didn't feel anything I would think of as a herx. Later one when I was feeling much better and could actually tell the difference in symptoms from one day to the next, I experienced a couple of minor herxes from adding new herbs, but nothing too major.
