Hi all,

I am having a really rough time. I feel like I have a lump in my throat, my face feels like it is numb, my limbs are tingling, my whole body feels weird. I remember years ago when I was diagnosed with depression/anxiety I think this is what it felt like.

Recently over the last year or so I have had anxiety feelings like my heart racing, feel like I'm crawling out of my skin occasionly.

I do take prozac and klonipin on a regular basis. This just reminds me of years ago. Could this also be part of the major herx I am going through.

I am only taking malarone at this time (but was on zith only 5 days and ceftin for 10days) My llmd told me to just take malarone for 1 week and call him.

Just wondering what you guys thought?

Thanks

Karen

i never felt that way till i STARTED taking prozac 2 years ago for mild anxiety. i stopped taking it due to that. If for some reason my lyme positive test is wrong...id bet 1 million that my illness was drug altered to some degree.

Try a small xanax dose for acute anxiety.

Your description sounds a lot like the herx I experienced during babs treatment - right down to the words you're using to describe it.

Maybe it's a herx from the malarone...

I hope you get some relief soon.

Thanks

I don't think it is from the prozac, I've been on that for awhile.

I am leaning towards the malarone causing this portion of the herx to. This stinks. I feel awful.
