I am on IV Rocephin 2 grams, twice a day, 4 days on and 3 days off.

I was wondering if anyone did Alinia while on it?

I think my dose for Alinia was 1,000mg twice a

day for 20 days. I did the 3 days at that dose

once or twice and really herxed. But that was a

few months before I went on IV.

I never used alinia while on IV. The IV dosing you are on is quite a bit for the liver to handle, let alone the gall bladder.

There are a number of LLMD who use alinia for lyme and for the cyst form of lyme. Alinia has good anti-protozoa qualities so it chould have an effect on the protozoa like tendencies of the lyme cyst.

If I were on the IV and alinia I would only pulse in the alinia for a couple of runs, to be on it continuously might be a bit much.
