I received a negative Elisa test through Kaiser I received a positive test through IGENEX. My doctors refuse to take that test result seriously. Im DEMANDING i get another outside test done through Kaiser and need yet another lab to go to. Which is the next best lab aside from Igenex!
Also...
I had negative Elisa No memory of tic bite No bullseye rash Negative on co-infections and although i have a laundry list of symptoms..i have NO arthritis (only full body pain) clean MRI (Neuro suspected MS)
Is it possible I dont have Lyme and seriously just have CFS and Fibro??

I don't believe in CFS or Fibro as conditions but as names given to syndromes that doctors don't know how to identify or don't take the time to do so.
Check into MDL or Immunosciences. Both have good Lyme tests.

It is suggested that one orders an IgG and IgM Western Blot test, at the very least. Ask the lab to report ALL bands.

Follow Timaca's excellent advice word for word.
I have been told that Kaiser tries to pride itself on prevention.....atleast that's what a neighbor says who is covered by them and likes them. (Although I read negative things about them here.)
Instead of you coming back constantly with your pain and waxing and waning symptoms......having the western blot done at multiple labs would be preventative. If only you could talk your doctor into doing this. Do you have a good relationship?

1) Could be dependent upon what's in your blood that day, the expertise of the lab tech, the amount of time the blood sat around in the post office, etc, etc.
2)It's been found to be the best!

I would recommend Immunosciences. Hubby produces very few antibodies or at least they don't show up in the standard tests. Immunosciences tests different strains of bacteria than other labs use.
