I'm wondering if 100 mg twice a day of doxy is ok for low body weight (113 lb)?
Has it worked for any of you at that dose? I did a search here and someone did mention that they thought that low body weight required a lesser dose
I'm supposed to be taking double that and my LLMD probably wouldn't approve going down.
I've lost 15 pounds since starting antibiotics last summer and I'm tired of having an upset stomach and loss of appetite.
ten years ago I took doxy for 6 months at this low dose and got well. But my lyme wasn't neurological then.

I'm on 400 mg. a day. I take 200 mg. every morning and 200 mg. every evening. I weigh about 134 lbs. I'm doing ok on that dose, I'm not having any stomach problems or anything. I was on 200 mg. a day but about 3 months ago he increased it to 400 mg. I do have chills and a headache but not sure if thats from the doxy.
