I'm back after 4 years of symptom free living It seems I did not get it all out of me and now I need some help again. I have a Lyme dx from late 2001 by Dr. P in CT and was given Oral Abx with great success. My problem now is I moved to the other side of the country and really need to see a LLMD somewhere out here (Las Vegas) I really do not mind traveling and am really close to jumping on a plane to see Dr. P again if I need to.
I have mostly Nuro issues (numbness/weekness all over and bad Hip/Neck pain) This "attack" is the worst yet. I'm not really worried, but need to get back on Abx and have the normal tests run again, yuck!
Can anyone out there can send me some info on a LLMD that is close, I really don't mind driving all day, I just want to see someone good.
Thanks!
Jason

I am not sure about Nev. llmd. You may try a search for Nev., or Nevada, and see if a poster from that state can be reached.
The closest state is Calif., with the CALDA website being the source of llmds, or look for Support Groups in Ca. on left side.
It is much closer than Conn., and many people post here from Ca. and they rave about their doctors.
I do not know if there are llmd's in the sierra's, though. There are direct flights from LV to major Ca. cities.

Thanks all for the help. Does anyone here even know if Dr. P in CT is still open?

Get on a plane and go see Dr. P. I'm a patient of his, and as you already know, he is one of the best in the country. As far as I know, there aren't any great LLMD's or even any at all in Las Vegas. It is an imposition both physically and financially to travel so far, but seeing as you said you don't mind, don't wait.

Since you are already a patient of Dr P, you may not have to wait that long to be seen....just a thought.
Im not sure about the West coast dr, but LLMD in my area have waiting lists.
Sorry you had to rejoin us.
