I am wondering if anyone experiences a flashing type irregular edge circle at times in there vision. It comes and goes once or twice over a one month period. It can last minutes or hours. There is at times pain associated with it, having it now and I thought it waould be a good time to post for help. Thanks

Oh yes... I've never noticed the flashers lasting more than a couple of minutes, but I certainly have seen them!
It freaks me out sometimes.
The visual stuff is terrible.
Nevertheless, you should have your eyes checked by a opthamologist. Flashing lights can be an indicator of a detached retnia and should be addressed immediatly.

Hi, I had my eyes checked a month ago, everything was fine. I am wondering if this could be Lyme related?

I see the flashing lights too. I've had my eyes checked out and my retina was fine. So maybe it is Lyme related???

Good... thats the first step. Now that you've made sure that you don't have a detached retnia, then it's probably Lyme related.
Like I said... I'm probably the king of visual symptoms. Like my name states, I'm dealing with pretty much every visual symptom under the sun. I have seen flashers every once in a while. I have also read on this site (search using the key word flashers)it is pretty common.

I have floaters & flashing lights and lots of other neuro lyme symptoms (muscle twitches, burning skin, etc). The floaters are 90% better after 9 months of abx.
The flashing lights only happen at dusk & early evening. And about 50% gone since abx.
Eye doc said eyes are fine. So, floaters & flashing lights just 2 more wonderful lyme symptoms.
