I just started taking Cats Claw and CoQ10 with Fish Oil yesterday, now I have these symptoms
Feeling like something is stuck in my throat Feeling like I can't get a good breath Numbness on the left side of my face (including around my eye) Vibrating sensation in my left thigh
I called my LLMD and the girl there said it may be a herx or an allergic reaction, and to stop taking the supplements and add them in again after my symptoms go away.
She also said I could take Benadryl, which I did. It didn't help.
I'm going to be so scared to reintroduce the supplements again, though.
Is it normal to herx off of these things? I'm scared!

Are you on antibiotics too? During my initial treatment I had problems swallowing and some breathing difficulties that were related to cranial nerve damage.
See TC's Cranial Nerve post in the newbie link page. It saved me alot of worrying.
Hope this helps.

"Usually" a herx is an increase in symptoms that you already have. I suffer with chronic nausea, headache, muscle pain, insomnia, along with other weird things. When I herx, these symptoms increase to almost unbearable. I started on cats claw when I first got my diagnoses before I could see a LLMD, I would herx on average about 1.5 to 2 days after ingesting it.

I'm not on antibiotics yet, that's why I'm confused.
I just started taking it yesterday, so this is really scary and these really aren't my normal symptoms.
