Pleae flood your reps and senators with requests to VOTE YES for HR 4282 when it is reintroduced soon by Congressman Ron Paul.
Lets take a moment to salute Ron Paul, he has fought with the FDA and their complicity for years.
Now let's all pray hard and send out requests to keep the FDA from regulating our supplements, CAM and haev HEALTH FREEDOM from the FDA and greedy Big Pharm !!

Hi Sue -- Will this new bill take care of the problems potentially created by the April 30 comment period closure? Do you know what its relationship will be to the old 1994 one that offers some protection now? Do you know whether this bill can protect against CODEX? Thx -- Robin

NOT SURE IF IT CAN PROTECT CODEX, BUT AT LEAST PROVEDES SOME CONGRESSIONAL OVERIDING MEASURES. IT FURTHER ADDS MOR SUPPORT TO DSHEA ( 1994 ). THE FDA HAS BEEN TRYING TO WRIGGLE AROUND AND PAST DSHEA EVER SINCE THEN, INCLUDING A 1999 COURT ORDER. THIS IS ALSO TO ALLOW AMERICANS GREATER FREEDOM OF CHOICE FOR CAM TREATMENTS AND PRODUCTS.

I looked this bill up and found it was introduced in Nov. 2005. It seems quite old. Sue, do you have any new information? Congressman Ron Paul is a great guy. He's helped us before to keep our health care freedoms.
I heard he is running for president.

call his office. Find out the day he is gonna reintroduce it in Congress. It is VERY IMPORTANT you call and FAX your US Reps and Senators that you want them to VOTE YES on this bill. Mailing letters takes longer because of the post 911 screenings of packages and mail to Congress.
